Gavin is THREE!

I can’t believe it. My little blue-eyed angel is three years old! It seems like just yesterday, that he looked like this.

It’s amazing how much he has grown! I put this silly thing together to show how he’s grown over the past 3 years.

On Saturday, we had his birthday party. He was so pumped for his party, it wasn’t funny! I didn’t take my camera out much during the party. I just wanted to enjoy my boy’s special day.

First, Friday, I had to do a few things to get ready for the party.

Gav tried to steal some cupcakes… he succeeded twice.

We went to Party City, and he got a balloon :)

Trey and Carol were put to work when they showed up ;) Thank you soooo much, guys!!

Dad and Jon put the train table together while Gav napped.

The cupcakes! I saw the idea online. I had to make some adjustments, but they were a HUGE hit!

We definitely got our $20 out of that Halloween costume!

Taryn came! B loves her and so does Gav!

That’s all I got. Sorry to disappoint. I enjoyed the day. I now have a 3 year old. Wow!

I’ve got to get better at this!

I skipped a whole week of blogging. I hate that my computer is in the basement. If it were upstairs, I would probably be constantly blogging. Oh well, I had 3 blog entries last week ;) haha! This will be mainly photos, with little commentary. Be warned, it will be long.

I did take photos over the weekend of the 5th and 6th, but they were for some Studio D clients. :) This is my family blog.

Monday, we went to a friend’s house to watch the KU game. B got a bath before we went :)

Last Tuesday, Dorian came over. He had a bit of a rough day, but he finally played with B for a bit.

Tuesday is a day that I will forever remember. Tuesday was the last day I ever had to clean Brock’s eye boogers. Yes, his tear duct has healed on it’s own!!! :) I am so thankful!

New Year | 365/52 Blog

So, I've decided to do a 365/52 blog. What does this mean, you ask? Well, for me, it means that I plan to take a photo every day for a year (that's the 365) and I plan to blog those photos at least once a week (that's teh 52). Now, I'll warn you that it will most likely be 99% photos of my kids. What can I say? I love them :) I've all ready screwed up, though. I missed day #2. Yes, sue me. We were in the car for roughly 7 hours, I was tired and didn't feel like getting the camera out. I made up for it. Other days have more than one photo!
So, here's my first post of the challenge! Days 1-6 and week 1 :)
On the 1st, we had a surprise birthday party for my grandpa. I think he is the world's greatest! He had NO idea! I got the surprise on video and it melts my heart to watch it.


The birthday boy. His actual birthday is the 9th (mine is the 10th!) but we celebrated New Year's Day.


I put together a photo book for him with pictures scanned in. 80 years of memories. Everyone got a little emotional, even Grandpa.


My brother, Trey and B. B kind of just got passed around at the party ;)

Santa brought Gav a new umbrella. He loves it!

Gav got a new haircut. It's the first good haircut (I think) he's had since we moved here. I was about to give up!


On Wednesday, B found his feet. I love it!
